Part 2 Rotary Weekend in April

So for our second weekend, we did a lot of walking. Right after school, we piled into cars and made our way to go to the rock carving park. The valley that I live in is called Camonica Valley and to quote the park's website: "Camonica Valley is known worldwide for its outstanding wealth and variety of engraved rock art. In 1979 it was the first Italian site to be included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. It is a truly unique place of beauty and charm, where Humankind interacted with the environment since Prehistory, characterizing it as the “The Valley of Landmarks”. Here's the website if you want to read more about the park: http://www.vallecamonicaunesco.it/?lang=en. Anyways at the park, we went to the very first rock carving found. I took a picture but it is hard for it to show. It seems to be a deer, and I also took a picture of the sign so you can assume what it looked like all together. Afterwards, we went to a really pretty church which my friend thought was a castle when we drove by it earlier stating that he wanted to go there someday. Well, we went but it was a church instead although amazing nonetheless. We ate pizza at a nearby restaurant and that finished our Rotary intense day. Even if we were tired a couple of exchange students and I hit the club to end our night/extremely early morning. I really enjoyed it all. Great people and a great day.
